Light and Shadow

I love when designers and artists highlight the interplay between dark and light spaces.  When light is used well, the creator can take the viewer on a journey through the space. The designer's composition determines the viewers pace, landing slowly on things one at a time or darting from section to section creating a feeling of urgency. In this way, a still image becomes a moving picture, art becomes a kinesthetic experience and a room becomes a breathing, living organism.

Alright... enough of the deep thoughts on a Tuesday morning.
Let's get to the pictures!
