Cultivate Solitude
Hello dear readers! I'm back from a long weekend away in Cayucos, California where I attended a family reunion and the blessing of my son, Charlie. My husband and older son were unable to attend, so Charlie and I were on our own. I didn't realize how much I needed a little alone time with my baby. The last six months have been a whirl wind of doctor appointments, therapy sessions and meetings with specialists - all in an effort to help my son recover from a grade 4 stroke he suffered in utero. I am so grateful for the time we had alone together this weekend, and I am happy to be home once again!
Now that I'm home, I'm refreshed and ready to pick up the reigns again! I will post more photos from the trip and from the blessing, but until then, enjoy the photo below.
