Giveaway from Formosa Designs
I'm so excited to kick off our Holiday Gift Guide with an awesome giveaway from Formosa Design. Formosa Design was founded in 2009 by Australian textile artist Jennifer Berney. Her designs focus exclusively on Australian flora and fauna. Jenny uses high quality 100% organic cotton/hemp fabric to screen print with water-based inks. This means that the production process is undertaken in a environmentally and socially responsible way. She also sews the cushions, bags and purses herself. Check out her blog and her shop. Her "Wren in Winter" tea towel would make a fabulous Christmas gift! Below are some photos of Jenny's studio and creative process.
Jenny is offering one lucky La Maison Boheme reader the gorgeous Lino-cut Blueberry Ash pillow cover pictured below. She writes, "I was inspired to create this design after seeing the Eastern Yellow Robin hanging out in a Blueberry Ash tree while on a camping trip in Meroo National Park. Originally I cut the illustration from lino and made a print. I then turned it into a repeat pattern to screen print."
Leave a comment here at La Maison Boheme for a chance to win. It's that easy! Include your email or make sure we have a way to contact you when you win! Contest ends Friday, Nov. 5 at 9pm EST. The winner will be chosen randomly and announced on Saturday, Nov. 6th.
Bonus EntriesPlease make a separate comment for each of the bonus things that you do. If you are already doing one of these things, please leave a comment to let me know. The separate comments help me to stay organized & makes choosing a winner so much easier. It also ups your chances of winning!
