Looky what I found!

Remember this post from last Friday? Well, less than a week later, guess what I have in my house? That's right! My dream chairs. This proves that writing wishful letters to inanimate non-existent furniture really works! I found them on the Craig's List - the seller's mother bought them in Fort Worth, Texas back in 1944 at an estate sale. They were reupholstered with this blue/gray velvet in the 1980's. I'm totally over the moon about them. Aren't they a darling pair?

And just for fun, here is a shot of my son jumping off the new furniture. When I put them in the front window, announced "Chair for me!"
